Job summary

CareOne Senior Care in Southfield, MI is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care for seniors and adults in their own homes.

We offer flexible schedules, comprehensive training, and support. Roles include helping with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, day, evening, overnight, and live-in assignments.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license, current vehicle registration, and auto insurance.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• TB test current or willing to obtain one before starting.
• Home care, personal care or CNA experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming and other personal care.
• Prepare meals and help clients stay hydrated.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
• Assist with walking, mobility and safe transfers.
• Provide medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
• Accompany clients to errands or appointments.
• Monitor client well-being and report concerns to the office staff.
• Document completed care at the end of each visit.

Personal Care Assistant – Southfield, MI

CareOne Senior Care is looking for reliable, compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one, non-medical home care for seniors and adults throughout Southfield, Michigan.

Whether you're an experienced caregiver or just beginning your career in home care, CareOne Senior Care provides the training, support, and resources you need to succeed.

In This Role, You Will

Every day is different, but your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs
• Preparing meals and helping clients stay hydrated
• Providing companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Completing light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization
• Assisting with walking, mobility, and safe transfers
• Providing medication reminders as directed by the care plan
• Accompanying clients on errands or to appointments when needed
• Monitoring client well-being and reporting concerns to the appropriate office staff
• Documenting completed care at the end of each visit

Available Schedules

We offer a variety of assignments to fit different availability and schedules:

• Full-time and part-time positions
• Morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts
• Weekday and weekend opportunities
• Live-in care assignments
• Ongoing and short-term cases

We're Looking For Caregivers Who

• Are at least 18 years old
• Have a caring, dependable, and positive attitude
• Can work independently in a client's home
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and office staff
• Have reliable transportation

Home care, personal care, CNA, direct care, and caregiving experience are helpful but not required.
