Welsh Mountain Home in New Holland, PA is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential resident care during a 12-hour night shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM), Sunday to Wednesday. You will assist with daily activities, administer medications per instructions, support dining and housekeeping, and participate in activities to promote resident engagement.

Applicants must hold High School diploma or PA Nurses’ Aide Certification, and be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED with insulin

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or PA Nurses’ Aide Certification is required.
• First Aid, CPR and AED certification is required.
• Medication Administration Certification including insulin training is required.
• Must complete and maintain 12 hours of annual training.
• Proficient in use of computer and related technology for the role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide personal care to residents, assisting with bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Administer medications according to prescribed instructions and maintain records.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support dining room operations, including serving meals and assisting during meals.
• Participate in resident activities to promote engagement and social interaction.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including Heimlich procedures when necessary.
