Job summary

Caring Senior Service is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant to support seniors and individuals with specialized needs in their homes. You will help with daily activities, meals, and light housekeeping while promoting independence and dignity.

We offer short 2–4 hour shifts, competitive pay of $16–$18 per hour, and opportunities for professional training and PTO. Valid driver’s license and reliability are required to join our team in Kansas City, MO area.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiver/home health aide experience.
• Familiar with medication administration and EMR documentation.
• Ability to safely operate mobility aids (e.g., Hoyer lifts).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily support: assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Specialized care: support clients with ADL.
• Home & meals: prepare nutritious meals and light housekeeping.
• Outings: transport clients to appointments and activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a caregiver, home health aide, or in senior care for one year
• Familiarity with medication administration and EMR documentation.

• First Aid / CPR certification preferred.
