Merakey is seeking a Full-time Personal Care Assistant for the Harrisburg, PA area to support adults in a behavioral health program. The role runs 40 hours per week with a 3 PM–11 PM shift and rotating weekends. Compensation starts at $17.76/hour, with an Enhanced Pay option bringing it to $19.76/hour.

Position Details

Our personal care residential workers provide for the safety and welfare of all consumers in the personal care home setting, supporting their mental and physical well-being. They carry out direct care responsibilities while participating in and following the treatment planning process.

Key Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement activities and other special projects designed to strengthen independent and community living skills and socialization/leisure time.
• Build on strengths to promote positive growth for the consumer.
• Engage consumers in appropriate life skills to develop abilities to live as independently as possible.
• Accompany consumers on trips outside the facilities for treatment, medical appointments, or any other appropriate activities.
