Job summary

The Meadows at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to join our East Palestine, Ohio team. This part-time role focuses on providing dignified, patient-centered care to our guests in a supportive environment.

You will assist with daily living activities, monitor guest conditions, and collaborate with our nursing staff to implement individualized care plans while maintaining infection control standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care assistance or caregiving preferred.
• Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow infection control protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to guests, including bathing, dressing, grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as setting up meals, ambulating, and transferring.
• Support guests with mobility and mobility-related issues, including wheelchair assistance and mobility device management.
• Help guests maintain their independence and autonomy by providing assistance with daily tasks and routines.
• Monitor and report any changes in a guest's condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized living environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
• Communicate effectively with guests, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care and support.
