Job summary

Attentive Care NY is seeking compassionate PCAs and HHAs to deliver in-home support across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. You will assist with daily living, hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while promoting dignity and independence.

Join a team that values safe, respectful care and reliable visits. Fluent English required; able to lift 150 lbs; must reside within 25 miles of Long Island/Queens; NYSDOH-certified, and authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Certified PCA or HHA through a NYSDOH training program.
• Recent experience working under your certificate within the past 2 years through a licensed agency.
• Fluent in English.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Able to lift or transfer clients weighing an average of 150 lbs, with or without assistance, according to the care plan.
• Must live within a 25-mile radius of assigned cases in Long Island or Queens, including Suffolk and Nassau counties.

Attentive Care is a licensed, CHAP-accredited home health care agency providing compassionate in-home support for individuals who want to remain safe, comfortable, and independent at home. Our services include nursing support, personal care, home health aide services, and companion care, with a focus on delivering respectful, dependable care that supports each client's daily needs and overall well-being.

As a PCA or HHA with Attentive Care, you will play an important role in helping clients maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life in their own homes. This role is centered on building trust, supporting everyday routines, and providing thoughtful, person-centered care that helps clients and their families feel supported during every visit.

We proudly provide services throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties, including but not limited to the following communities:

• East Meadow
• Hicksville
• Massapequa
• Hempstead

• Melville
• Huntington Station
• Port Jefferson
• Dix Hills

• and many other surrounding communities throughout Long Island
