Job summary

12 Oaks Senior Living in Carrollton, TX is seeking a compassionate caregiver to support residents with personal care, meals, activities, and daily living tasks. The role requires regular lifting, teamwork, and adherence to infection control practices, with duties expanding to housekeeping and activity coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Experience performing care-giving tasks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident services including personal care, meal services, and activities.
• Assist with medications as indicated and allowed by regulation.
• Review and follow resident Service Plans and notes daily.
• Respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
• Maintain infection control procedures and a safe environment.
• Assist with housekeeping as needed and encourage participation in activities.
• Document changes in resident needs and health status per procedures.
• Report abuse or suspected abuse to supervision or authorities.

The Caregiver is responsible for providing resident services, including assistance with personal care, medication reminders, social and recreational activities, meal services, and other tasks as needed to facilitate the continued well-being of the resident.
