Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care needs.
• Provide compassionate assistance while promoting resident dignity, independence, comfort, and safety.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the care team.
• Assist with maintaining supplies and notify leadership when additional items are needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, coworkers, and other team members.
• Work independently while contributing to a positive, collaborative team environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor or facility leadership.

Personal Care Aide Responsibilities

• Abilityto communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers.
• CPRand First Aid certification.
• CurrentMedication Technician certification preferred.
• Previouspersonal care, assisted living, senior living, or related caregivingexperience preferred.
