Job summary

HOME-HEALTHMED SERVICES® LLC in Virginia is hiring Personal Care Aides for immediate FT and PT openings. You will assist clients with ADLs, support mobility, and perform light tasks to maintain daily routines with care plans and documentation.

Positions require PCA certification in Virginia, CPR/First Aid, and the ability to follow written plans while providing compassionate companionship and safe, respectful care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Current Virginia PCA certification.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification required.
• TB Test required with negative result.
• 1 year of personal care or home health experience preferred.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to follow written care plans and document care accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding.
• Provide mobility support including transfers, ambulation and repositioning.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry and meal preparation as part of daily care routines.
• Offer companionship, emotional support and encourage client engagement in activities.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition or behavior to the supervisor.
• Provide medication reminders as directed in the care plan.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Adhere to infection control, safety and privacy protocols at all times.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and feeding
