CareBuilders at Home – Buckhead GA is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Aide (PCA) to assist clients with daily activities and personal tasks in a home setting. You will help with bathing, feeding, grooming, medication reminders, and light housekeeping, while prioritizing client safety and comfort.

This role emphasizes observing changes in health and behavior, supporting mobility, meal planning, and transporting clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Candidates must show genuine interest in helping people.
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks safely and respectfully.
• Prior personal care aide experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry, cleaning, dishes, linens).
• Transport and accompany clients to doctor visits or hospital as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in health, behavior, or needs.
• Ensure client safety and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with exercises and outdoor activities as directed.
• Plan and prepare meals for clients.

Responsibilities of the Personal Care Aide (PCA):

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, feeding, grooming and medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, dishwashing, and changing bed linens
• Transporting and accompanying clients to doctors office or to hospital
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs
• Ensure client safety and maintain a safe environment
• Assist with client’s exercise and outdoor activities
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals

Skills and Qualifications of the Personal Care Aide (PCA):

• Comply with CareBuilders at Home policies and procedures
• Proven work experience as a personal care aide
• Training in personal care aide duties is a plus
