Job summary

Addus HomeCare in Arizona is seeking caring individuals to join our caregiver team. You will follow a care plan, assist with daily activities, provide companionship, and help clients remain safe and independent at home.

We offer flexible scheduling, either full-time or part-time roles, direct deposit, and opportunities for training and advancement. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are preferred, and prior caregiving experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• One year caregiving experience preferred but not required.
• Able to pass a criminal background check.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle (required).
• Ability to work with limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions.
• Must be reliable, energetic, self-motivated, and well-organized.
• Comfortable using a cell phone.
• Three references (2 professional and 1 personal) will be required at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Following a care plan for the client and reporting on completed task
• Assist with personal care such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, incontinence care etc.
• Provide light housekeeping, bed changes, and laundry
• Provide meal prep and planning
• Assist clients with medication reminders
• Provide transportation to appointments, shopping or other errands
• Companionship
• Observing and reporting any changes in client's condition
