Job summary

Freedom Home Care LLC in Fort Worth is hiring a Personal Care Aide (PCA) to provide hands-on daily living support. The role offers full-time or part-time options with flexible shifts and potential travel within the service area.

You will assist clients with personal care, mobility, meal prep, and light housekeeping while ensuring safety and dignity. Prior PCA/caregiver experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Experience as PCA or caregiver is a plus, but training is provided.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and follow infection-control and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, and transfers.
• Assist with mobility, walker/wheelchair use, and ROM routines as directed.
• Plan and prepare simple balanced meals; monitor hydration.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and fall-prevention checks.
• Offer companionship and escort to appointments and activities.

• Personal Care Excellence - Provide respectful assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and safe transfers.
• Mobility & Exercise - Guide ambulation, walker/wheelchair use, and therapist-directed range-of-motion routines.
