Job summary

Civility Home Care LLC is seeking compassionate Personal Care Aides and Caregivers to support clients across Connecticut. We offer a variety of day, evening, overnight, weekend, short and extended shifts, plus ongoing care opportunities to fit different schedules.

Caregivers provide essential non-medical support to help clients stay safe, comfortable, independent, and respected in their homes, with opportunities to work as part of a growing CT home-care team.

Qualifications

• Caregiving or personal-care experience preferred
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and respectful
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to follow care instructions and agency policies
• Ability to work independently in a client's home
• Reliable transportation preferred
• Valid driver's license preferred for assignments requiring transportation
• Ability to successfully complete required employment screening and background-check requirements
• Must meet all agency onboarding and employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene as assigned
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with dressing and grooming
• Assist with mobility and daily activities
• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related needs
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry
• Assist with grocery shopping and errands as assigned
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities when required
• Provide reminders and assistance with established daily routines
• Observe and promptly report changes in a client's condition or needs
• Follow the client's service plan and agency instructions
• Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality
• Complete required documentation and timesheets accurately
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, supervisors, and office staff
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
