Job summary

Community Banks of Colorado is seeking an Assistant Banking Center Manager to lead a team and deliver exceptional service in Colorado. You will develop relationships with clients and partners, introduce new products and digital solutions, and demonstrate knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options.

You will train staff, maintain guidelines and policies, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate across departments while upholding the bank’s standards of integrity and client care.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
  • NMLS registration and license as required by the S.A.F.E. Act and NBH’s compliance policies, including a satisfactory background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the bank’s driver standards; a Motor Vehicle Report will be verified.

Responsibilities

  • Train and coach a team using strong decision‑making skills under Banking Center leadership.
  • Operate as an effective communicator, stimulating and motivating others while being aware of their needs and concerns.

As an Assistant Banking Center Manager, you will
  • Work with and through others, building and maintaining relationships.
  • Train and coach a team using strong decision‑making skills under the guidance of Banking Center leadership.
  • Operate as an effective communicator, stimulating and motivating others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns.
  • Perform detailed work accurately and efficiently within established guidelines.
  • Actively participate in maintaining guidelines, structure, and policies while working with others.

As an Assistant Banking Center Manager, you will meet and provide exceptional service to a diverse audience. Responsibilities include developing relationships with business partners and clients, introducing new products, services, and digital solutions, and demonstrating strong knowledge of mortgage, business, and installment loan options. You will also assist other departments as needed, building rapport with clients and colleagues while treating everyone with respect and consideration.

Minimum Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Registered and licensed in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) as required by the S.A.F.E. Act and NBH’s compliance policies, including a satisfactory background check.
  • Valid driver’s license (not a learner’s or restricted license) and driving record that meets the bank’s driver standards; a Motor Vehicle Report will be verified.
Desired Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • 3‑4 years of cash handling or financial service experience.
  • 2+ years of successful sales experience.
  • 4‑5 years of relevant job experience.
  • Bilingual language skills.
  • Passionate and motivated self‑starter.
  • A passion for educating clients on banking products and digital technologies.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to complete work accurately.
  • Logical thinking and sound decision‑making ability.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capacity to work with multiple computer and software systems.
  • Ability to calculate figures and percentages.
Work Environment
  • Committed to meritocracy and supporting associates in career growth.
  • Tasks may require physical exertion such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, raising, and holding arms overhead.
  • Overtime may be required, typically no more than 5% of working hours.
Incentive and Benefits

This role is eligible to participate in a scorecard‑based incentive plan that can significantly increase overall compensation. Incentives are earned quarterly based on performance metrics. In addition to financial compensation, we offer a generous benefits package that includes insurance, 401(k), an employee stock purchase program, paid time off, and associative banking perks.
