Job summary

You will engage customers with needs-based conversations, ensuring accurate processing of transactions while maintaining compliance and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or equivalent education/experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role to deliver a personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Strong interpersonal, listening, problem solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow the customer relationship beyond personal banking.
• Welcomes and guides customers and advises on digital and self-serve options to speed banking.
• Contributes to client conversations about banking services and channels to suggest alternatives.
• Meets transaction-based needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles to identify opportunities and address banking needs.
• Supports branch operations including inventory, requests, filings, and opening/closing activities.
• Acts as a key member of a collaborative branch and market team.
• Ensures risk and compliance processes protect customer assets and privacy.
• Keeps up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry trends.
• Looks for ways to improve the overall customer experience.
