Job summary

Bank of Montreal (BMO) is seeking a customer-focused associate to deliver outstanding retail banking service. You will identify customer needs, offer financial solutions, and collaborate with branch partners to enhance the customer experience and drive business results.

You will guide customers as they enter the branch, promote digital self-serve options, and engage in needs-based conversations to uncover opportunities while upholding risk and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Typically between 1 – 2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice regarding financial solutions.
• Collaborates with branch partners to deliver the customer experience and meet business objectives.
• Welcomes customers in the branch lobby and guides them to digital/self-serve options.
• Probes to understand personal banking needs and suggests appropriate banking channels.
