Citigroup Inc. is hiring an entry-level Personal Banker SAFE Act in Rowland Heights, California. The role supports sales, products and service activities with the customer service team to build loyalty and increase sales to individual consumer clients.

Responsibilities include handling small business lending opportunities under $250K, cross-selling treasury and related products, growing the Book of Business, and coaching branch staff on referrals while ensuring compliance with Citi policies.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Previous banking, retail, or sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Smart Banking tools and technologies.
• NMLS registration; Safe Act compliant.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with business credit requests under $250K and refer larger lending opportunities.
• Cross-sell treasury and related small business products.
• Build referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the MGM Program.
• Assist in growth strategies for small business clients and implement sales plans.
• Deliver client services via outbound/inbound calls to deepen relationships with cross-sell offers.
• Coach tellers and branch staff on products and referrals.
• Educate clients on services and digital channels and present product offers.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with Citi policies and regulations.
