Responsibilities

• Prepare mandated reports and file documents with designated agencies.
• Record customer interactions and resolve issues; refer complaints as needed.
• Meet cross-sell targets and contribute to branch profitability.
• Carry out other assigned duties.

Purpose:

While projecting a professional image; interact with new and existing customers and match services that best fit their individual needs. Maintain and service an existing client base of business. Respond to inquiries and resolve issues.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure that customers are assisted promptly in person, by telephone, or electronically by meeting or exceeding Bank standards as identified in the SMILE program.
• According to policy, open new deposit accounts, update customer files, or close accounts, make account inquiries, accept consumer loan applications, submit consumer loan applications for approval, process draws, process loan payments and assist customers with safe deposit entry.
• Prepare loan documents.
• Service existing consumer loan customer accounts.
• Prepare various mandated reports and file documents with designated agencies.
• Meet accuracy and correctness of work standards as required.
• Meet or exceed required cross-sell requirements annually.
• Contribute to branch deposit growth and branch profitability annual goals.
• Resolve customer complaints or ensure that the complaint is referred to the appropriate individual for resolution.
• Record detail documentation of customer interactions and transactions, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.
• Verify and ensure that appropriate action was taken in resolving customer problems.
• Other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Usually requires a high school diploma, or a GED equivalent.
• Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience and the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the essential requirements of the job.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs on occasion
