Job summary

WaFd Bank seeks a Personal Banker to help strengthen the community's financial health. You will open accounts, onboard relationships, and originate loans while building lasting client relationships in Mount Vernon, WA.

Role requires strong math, organizational, and communication skills, plus proficiency with MS Office and digital channels. You will conduct outreach, adhere to regulatory requirements, and represent WaFd with integrity and service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or approved equivalent.
• Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook.
• Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.

As a personal banker, you will:

Qualifications

Education/Skills/Training:

• High school diploma or approved equivalent.
• Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding.
• Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook.
• Well-developed smart phone and digital channel skills.
• Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills.
• Must have valid driver's license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.

Experience:

• Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending, previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relation.
