Job summary

Cornerstone Caregiving is seeking a compassionate Persian/Farsi-speaking caregiver to provide in-home care for a senior client in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego. Fluency in Persian/Farsi is highly preferred to ensure clear communication and comfort for the client.

Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available with competitive pay of $19.00-$40.00 per hour, and flexible scheduling to fit your needs. Join our supportive team and help seniors safely remain at home.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate effectively in Persian/Farsi.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and professional.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Negative TB test or willingness to complete required testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and transfers as needed
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry
• Observe and report any changes in the client's condition
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
