Job summary

Absolute Interpreting and Translations Ltd is seeking fluent Persian interpreters to join its network of professional linguists. Roles include face-to-face, telephone, and video remote interpreting across the UK for NHS Trusts, councils, law firms, insurers, and private clients.

Requirements include English and Persian fluency, right to work in the UK, professional interpreting qualifications, enhanced DBS (or willingness), references, and ID/address proofs.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and at least one other language.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Professional interpreting qualifications.
• Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply).
• Professional references.
• Proof of ID and address.
• DPSI, NRPSI registration welcomed or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide interpretation for NHS hospitals and GP practices.
• Interpret in social services, child protection, and education settings.
• Support solicitor appointments and court hearings.
• Assist housing and council departments and private sector consultations.
