Job summary

Amentum is seeking linguists with excellent English skills to support our intelligence community customers. The role focuses on Persian Farsi language services, cultural understanding, and contributing to senior leadership strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities include interpreting during interviews, transcribing communications, researching foreign language documents, and providing translations for Farsi. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and able to obtain necessary clearances.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess excellent command of Persian Farsi and English; ILR level 3 in target language and level 3 or 2 in English based on examinations.
• Must hold an active U.S. passport and be eligible for security clearance.
• Willing to work shifts for 24x7 operations.
• Familiarity with local culture and customs.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational contract linguist support for military operations and interpret during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
• Transcribe and analyze verbal communications.
• Scan, research, and analyze foreign language documents for key information.
• Provide translation and interpretation services for Farsi.
