Our Permit Operations team is remote-first and includes architects, engineers, construction management professionals, planners, and permitting experts—each with firsthand experience of the challenges of permitting.

  • Construction Permitting Expert: You have extensive hands-on experience in construction permitting, with a thorough understanding of regulations, compliance, and the entire permit lifecycle. Excitement about this space and the construction industry at large is essential.

  • Team Player: You contribute to a seamless customer journey from software adoption to full implementation. Collaboration is your strength, thriving in a cross-functional environment.
  • Analytical Thinker: Data-driven decision-making is your specialty. You are skilled at interpreting data to enhance customer conversations and improve processes.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage the Permit Process: Lead the full lifecycle of permit applications, including researching requirements, preparing forms, gathering supporting documentation, and submitting applications to authorities.
  • Ensure Compliance and Accuracy: Guarantee that permit applications are complete and include all required documentation to meet standards.
  • Monitor and Expedite Approvals: Track permit statuses and proactively follow up with authorities to expedite the process.
  • Customer Point of Contact: Serve as the main resource for customers, updating them on permit status, timelines, and requirements.
  • Generate Reports: Produce detailed reports on permit progress and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Optimize Processes: Continuously seek improvements, streamlining workflows, reducing bottlenecks, and increasing efficiency.
Qualifications & Fit
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in construction permitting, project management, or similar roles, preferably within SaaS or tech environments.
  • Strong knowledge of permitting processes, regulations, and compliance standards across jurisdictions.
  • Experience with multi-state permitting projects is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and customer management.
  • Leadership experience: 2+ years managing and mentoring teams.
  • Customer-centric mindset with experience in customer success or similar fields.
  • Problem-solving skills, able to remain calm under pressure and find effective solutions.
  • NYC based: Ability to work from our NYC office on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
