Qualifications

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in California.

Responsibilities

• Carry out individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities.
• Assist with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training.
• Monitor patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Communicate relevant patient changes and observations to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises, mobility, and safety.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
• Encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation and celebrate meaningful progress.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care.
