Job summary

Palm Health in Montana is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled full-time Pathologist to provide diagnostic services across surgical pathology, cytology, and related specialties. The incumbent will work in a collaborative environment supporting patient care.

The role includes performing comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, collaborating with clinicians, participating in multidisciplinary case reviews and ensuring quality assurance and accreditation compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on surgical specimens, biopsies, cytology, and other laboratory tests.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards (if applicable).
• Oversee and maintain laboratory quality assurance and compliance with accreditation standards.

Palm Health is seeking a dedicated and highly skilledÂfull-time ÂPathologist because a member isÂset to retire. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, providing critical diagnostic services that directly impact patient care.

Job Details

• Monday- Friday 8 A- 6 P; no weekends/ no call
• Anticipated Time To Start: April 2025
• EMR: EPIC
• Roughly 15-30 cases in range (mixture of small biopsies, cyto, GYN, skin including large surgery cases)
• The medical staff consists of 5 pathologists, 2 part-time pathologists, 3 pathology assistants
• PAs perform gross specimens- pathologist solely reads microscope
• 4 Cyto Tech Screeners on staff

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on surgical specimens, biopsies, cytology, and other laboratory tests.
• Collaborate with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case reviews and tumor boards (if applicable).
• Oversee and maintain laboratory quality assurance and compliance with accreditation standards.
