Job summary

Suffield Public Schools is seeking a substitute teacher to cover classrooms across various grades at Suffield High School for the 2026/2027 school year. A BA degree is required, with CT certification or a plan to attain certification preferred. Paid at $130/day with an additional $5/day if teaching certification is held.

The position reports to the Building Principal and starts in the 2026/2027 school year, with applications welcomed for the upcoming term.

• Reporting & Communication: Take accurate attendance, follow school safety protocols, and leave detailed feedback notes for returning classroom teachers.
