Job summary

Mount Prospect Academy is seeking a Permanency Specialist to support at-risk youth and families in the Keene area. You will establish treatment goals, provide clinical support, and collaborate with a team to deliver trauma-informed care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required or equivalent in social work or related field.
• License eligibility preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in human services or a related field with direct work with children and families.
• Knowledge of the Juvenile Justice System valued.
• Valid driver’s license with insured transportation; background and driving record check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in strengthening and establishing lifelong connections to support success.
• Establish clear treatment goals and clinically appropriate recommendations for treatment and interventions.
• Work as a team to ensure goal-oriented, clinically appropriate interactions.

Job Description

The role of the Permanency Specialist (PS) is to assist clients in strengthening and establishing lifelong connections that will facilitate success throughout their lives. The PS establishes clear treatment goals and clinically appropriate recommendations for treatment and interventions. Working as a team to ensure interactions are goal oriented and clinically apocopate. The PS will perform some or all of the following services: provide clinical support for individuals and their families to overcome obstacles, identify strengths and develop support networks that will help them overcome barriers; provide education and guidance to assist in developing structure, routines, effective parenting skills, and positive communication.

We are looking for a champion in the Keene area! Someone that can work independently, build rapport with referral sources and grow the area.
