Are you passionate about helping children and families build lasting connections? As a Permanency Specialist with Families United Network, you’ll help children in foster care achieve safe, stable, and permanent living situations through adoption, reunification, and other permanency goals.
This is meaningful work for someone who is compassionate, organized, resourceful, and committed to helping children and families achieve positive outcomes.
Starting Pay: $19.25 per hour
Travel is an essential part of this position. The Permanency Specialist will regularly travel throughout the assigned service area to meet with children and families and participate in activities supporting permanency.
Travel may include private residences, foster and adoptive homes, schools, community locations, provider agencies, agency offices, courts, and other required locations.
The employee must be able to independently travel to required locations and maintain reliable transportation for work-related travel. The schedule may vary based on the needs of children and families and may require flexibility for meetings, family visits, appointments, trainings, events, and other permanency-related activities.
This is not a primarily office-based position. Successful candidates should be comfortable traveling regularly, working independently in the community, and managing multiple locations and appointments.
