Job summary

MedCadre seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and quality of life through individualized treatment activities.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, educating patients and caregivers, documenting progress, and collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient goals in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current COTA certification and state licensure as applicable.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and work effectively as part of a healthcare team.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
