Job summary

Memphis, TN-based Kroger is seeking a warehouse associate to verify and route incoming shipments to processing areas. You will match items to purchase orders and record shortages or damages, communicating with shippers as needed. Input freight bills and perform essential duties with accuracy and urgency.

Role requires basic math, ability to read simple instructions, and willingness to work weekends, overtime, and any shift. Training provided for equipment like forklift and pallet jack.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Basic math and measurement skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to follow written or oral instructions and solve simple problems.
• Willingness to work weekends, overtime, and any shift.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Accuracy and attention to detail; organize and prioritize tasks.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis

• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes
