Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Co. is hiring a Perishable Stocker in Monroe, LA to maintain stock levels in the frozen and dairy departments and ensure quality control. You will operate a pallet jack, unload and reload trucks, and rotate dated products to prevent waste while supporting sales and customer service.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, keeping aisles tidy, and following safety procedures in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age required to operate equipment.
• Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business.
• Food Handler certification required.
• On-the-job training typically provided.

Responsibilities

• Maintains full stock conditions on frozen food and dairy display racks and shelves.
• Operates pallet jack to unload product from warehouse trucks and reloads trucks with return items.
• Ensures dated product is stocked, rotated, or discarded properly.
• Inspects product for quality and maintains quality control and food safety standards.
• Greet customers, respond to questions, and assist with price checks.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling and keeps the area clean and safe.
