Job summary

Wegmans in Owings Mills, MD is hiring for a backroom associate who will receive, unload, and organize shipments to stock and rotate products for customers. You will help keep the store running smoothly by maintaining an efficient backroom and sales floor.

This role emphasizes safety, FIFO product rotation, sanitation, and teamwork in a climate-controlled environment. You’ll handle heavy lifting in a fast-paced retail setting while upholding Wegmans’ service standards and commitment to quality.

• Unload daily deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Sort, organize and stage products in storage areas.

• Report discrepancies, damaged goods, or inventory issues to management.
• Rotate products using FIFO to maintain freshness.
• Handle products safely and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Work in cold temperatures and lift 8–32 pounds regularly; occasional heavier lifting.

• Work in cold temperatures; lifting 8-32 pounds on average with maximum weight lifted greater than 50 pounds occasionally to frequently
