Job summary

Sysco Western Minnesota is seeking a Finance position focused on monitoring the quality of perishable products in the warehouse. You will input orders via data entry and perform extensive customer service duties while supporting product quality control operations.

The role emphasizes discretion and independent judgement in duties related to the general operation of product quality control, with a Monday–Friday schedule and early start times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in related role.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Check product in slots daily to ensure shipping quality.
• Communicate quality issues to buyers to ensure top quality products.
• Ensure proper product rotation and report rotation problems.
• Monitor variance reports for spoilage and damage.
• Greet internal and external customers to maintain service quality.
• Inspect inbound freight and warehoused product for condition.
• Convey status on product quality to relevant parties.
• Analyze and propose solutions to QA problems.
• Observe safety and sanitation policies.
