• Education: High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Experience: None required.
• Certification: Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.
• License: N/A
• Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully in a fast-paced and stressful environment, with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• transports patients to and from the surgical department,
• cleans rooms and prepares/ cleans instruments and equipment,
• picks up needed supplies from other departments and delivers to the department,
• takes specimens and supplies to other departments,
• helps lift and position patients as needed,
• aids in anesthesia care through the preparation of equipment and supplies,
• assists nurse anesthetists, anesthesiologists and staff,
• case preparation and patient turnover,
• cleans and maintains scopes, logs scope repairs, and performs related duties,
• participates in call obligations as assigned.
