Job summary

Overlake Hospital in Bellevue is seeking a Surgical Assistant for the Inpatient Surgery Department. The role provides support services to the Surgery Department in the main operating room including the transportation of patients, routine ordering and stocking of identified supplies, assisting with room turn-over and related housekeeping, and assisting as directed with perioperative activities.

1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly pay period). Monday-Friday / Break Shift Evenings.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Washington State NA-R license required. NA-C preferred.
• Healthcare provider CPR required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients and stock supplies for the Surgery Department.
• Assist with room turnover and perioperative activities as directed.
