University of Maryland Medical Center, part of the University of Maryland Medical System, is seeking a Perioperative Services Clinical Scheduling Coordinator in Baltimore, MD.

The role is Full-Time, Day shift, located at the downtown Baltimore campus. The successful candidate will coordinate perioperative scheduling and contribute to a Magnet-designated academic medical center known for its high-volume trauma services.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN is required and RN license active.
• AORN certification is preferred.
• Experience in surgical scheduling and OR environments is required or preferred.

Work Experience

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required.
• Registered Nurse is required. AORN Certification preferred.
• 3 years of nursing experience is required. 5 years of experience in an Operating Room environment is preferred. Prefer OR experience in a setting with 12 or more operating rooms; academic setting desired. Preferred experience in surgical scheduling.
• Required experience using computerized surgical information system include scheduling and preference list maintenance.
