Perioperative Scheduler – Full-Time, Day/Variable Shifts

Zusammenfassung

Providence Alaska Medical Center is hiring multiple Procedural Scheduler positions in the PeriOp Admin Department in Anchorage, AK. Two full-time schedules are available: 1. Day Shift, 40 hours per week; 2. Variable Shift, 40 hours per week.

Under supervision, coordinates communication of daily case progress to the Charge RN, surgeons and anesthesia teams, and manages scheduling data for procedures with inter-/intra-departmental staff to ensure proper resource allocation.

Qualifikationen

• At least 1 year experience in the Providence Operating Room with proficiency in two areas of function listed above in Essential Functions Daily Operations
• Computer skills using a variety of software
• Preferred coursework/training in Medical terminology

Aufgaben

• Coordinate communication of daily surgical and/or procedural case progress to the Charge RN, staff, surgeons and anesthesiologists
• Schedule Perioperative Services by obtaining data relevant to the specific procedure and coordinating with inter-/intra-departmental staff to ensure accurate procedure resource scheduling
