Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to deliver safe, compassionate perioperative care. Responsibilities include pre-op assessment, circulating and/or scrubbing, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff.

The RN will follow evidence-based protocols, maintain sterile technique, document accurately, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and operating room proficiency (implied by OR role).
• Strong teamwork and communication with surgical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-op assessments and planning before anesthesia.
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures as needed.
• Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to changes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers and support staff.
