Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across shifts. The role requires delivering individualized nursing care, performing assessments, and collaborating with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will use evidence-based practices, participate in ongoing education, and maintain professional standards while supporting a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or multi-state license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• CNOR certification preferred for perioperative areas.
• ONOC/ONCC certifications recommended in specialty areas within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care per Population Specific Criteria.
• Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments to guide discharge planning.
• Develop and revise individualized care plans with input from the care team.
• Implement interventions per care plan and nursing standards of practice.
• Evaluate patient responses and communicate changes via SBAR at shift change.
• Perform technical nursing skills safely and independently.
• Maintain professional behavior and contribute to a clean, organized unit.
• Identify and initiate actions to minimize patient risks and document appropriately.
• Coordinate staff utilization within scope of practice and provide feedback.
