Job summary

One Brooklyn Health in New York seeks a Registered Nurse for the Same Day Surgery unit to deliver safe, patient-family centered perioperative care. You will coordinate preoperative assessments, intraoperative support, and postoperative education.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop individualized perioperative plans.
• Implement and monitor perioperative care from preop to discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and expectations.
• Coordinate with surgical team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to standards of practice.
• Participate in quality improvement activities.
