Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Aurora, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an onsite Perioperative role. The position is full-time, 72 hours per pay period, with days shifts.

You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support education and safety initiatives in a dynamic perioperative environment. Compensation ranges between $38.91 and $60.31 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or state board approved program.
• State licensure as an RN.
• 6 months RN experience or completion of UCHealth Fellowship.
• PALS within 3 months of hire or transfer.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross with card valid through start date + 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide top of scope patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
• Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice.
• Precept and mentor new staff/learners in the clinical setting.
• Support a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment while maintaining safety and quality.
• Direct perioperative patient care in PACU/OR as applicable.
