Job summary

Endeavor Health's Highland Park Hospital seeks a Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across pediatric to geriatric populations during the perioperative period. You will collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and successful procedures.

This per diem role requires nursing degree, IL RN license, BLS/CPR, and OR experience; BSN preferred. You may orient new staff and help with education, supplies, and equipment to support high-quality care.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
License/Certification: IL RN License
CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association
Experience: 2 yrs RN experience in OR
Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
Act as patient advocate and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safety and successful procedures.
May orient new staff, support educational programs, and manage supplies/equipment for delivery of care.
