Job summary

Dayton Children’s Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perioperative Services III department. The RN will provide professional nursing care per ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards, working with an interdisciplinary team to promote the health of patients and families.

Day shift with call required; must reside within 30 hour from Main campus. Education includes an Associate degree in nursing, with a plan to obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire. Ohio RN license and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required
• Graduation from an accredited program of nursing is required
• Commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care according to ANA and Ohio Board of Nursing standards
• Interact with interdisciplinary team to promote optimal health for patient and family
• Deliver proficient nursing care based on detailed assessment of patient/family needs and hospital mission
• Promote patient- and family-experience oriented environment and act as change agent to meet census and needs of customers

Education
