Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast in Philadelphia is seeking a professional nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care using the nursing process. You will develop individualized care plans with patients and designated care partners, addressing physical, psychological, emotional, and social needs in harmony with each patient’s culture and values.

The role champions evidence-based practice, collaborates with inter-professional teams, and supports education for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care.
• Understanding of diverse backgrounds and cultural sensitivity.
• Effective verbal and written communication with patients and families.
• Ability to assess patient conditions and implement care plans.
• Knowledge of medications and preparation for safe administration.
• Understanding discharge planning and post-discharge needs.
• Familiarity with health information documentation and record-keeping.
• BLS certification and PA RN license.
