Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care within a 36-hour week, Monday through Friday, midshift (9:00 a.m.–9:30 p.m.).

The role requires OR experience in scrub and circulating duties, with a BSN preferred and RN licensure in SC or a compact state, plus BLS certification. Prior nursing experience is required; joining MUHA means contributing to safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree preferred.
• RN staff hired on or after July 1, 2013 with an Associate or Diploma degree in nursing must enroll in an accredited BSN program within two years and obtain BSN within four years.
• Minimum of one year of work experience as a registered nurse required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate with the health care team to deliver safe and effective care.
• Prepare OR patients with required scrub & circulating duties and assist in procedures.
