Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for Pre/Post-Operative care on a PRN basis. Provide patient and family education, prepare patients for surgery, and participate in universal protocols. You will work with a dynamic surgical team to ensure safe, evidence-based perioperative care.

Must hold a Florida RN license (or compact) with active FL license within 60 days. ACLS/BLS/PALS must be obtained within specified timeframes; Nursing Diploma or ASN required, BSN

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse or have a valid compact license with active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications акту within specified windows.
• Nursing diploma or ASN is required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgery and educate patients and families about peri-operative care.
• Participate in universal protocols and surgical site verification.

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and operating room staff to optimize safety and workflow.
