Qualifications

• Requires active Michigan nursing license.
• BSN preferred or willingness to obtain BSN within five years.
• Successful completion of RNFA program and exam.
• BLS certification required; CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Functions as the RN Care Manager in the OR to support patient and family outcomes.
• Negotiate, direct and provide patient care services across the perioperative continuum.
• Facilitate patient movement through the perioperative experience and collaborate with surgeons.
• Provide direct patient care as a first assistant during surgical interventions.
