Job summary

Endeavor Health's Evanston location seeks a Perioperative Registered Nurse to provide direct care across pediatric to geriatric patients during the perioperative period. You will advocate for patients and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

The role includes orientation of new staff, involvement in educational programs, and ensuring availability of supplies and equipment to support quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a state approved school of nursing required.
• IL RN License and CPR BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• 2 yrs RN experience in perioperative care - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• The perioperative RN provides direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period.
• Acts as patient advocate and ensures patient safety while collaborating with the surgical team.
• May orient new staff, support educational programs, and secure/maintain supplies and equipment.
