Job summary

Prism Vision Group seeks a Registered Nurse (Perioperative) for our Spokane Eye Clinic, an Ambulatory Surgery Center site. This onsite, non-exempt role reports to the Director of Nursing and offers a compensation range of $27.98–$58.11 per hour, dependent on experience.

The RN provides skilled perioperative nursing care, patient assessment, and coordinated care planning. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, current RN license, and circulator experience; ophthalmology

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Registered Nurse Program.
• Circulator experience required.
• Ophthalmology experience preferred.
• BLS required (ACLS requested, not required).
• Current unrestricted State Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and assesses the physical status of the patient.
• Knowledge of Privacy Practices & Patient Bill of Rights.
• Pre- and post-operative patient assessment and monitoring.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices.
• Communicates patient needs to the care team and acts as advocate.
