Job summary

ASC Silver Spring is seeking a PRN Perioperative Staff Nurse to join our team, supporting pre-op, PACU, OR and procedure rooms. The role emphasizes a stable daytime schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements.

Our team is largely based at the Silver Spring ASC, with occasional travel to nearby USPI ambulatory centers. Mileage reimbursement is provided and cross-trained staff ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Minimum of one year of perioperative nursing experience.
• CPR and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative care across pre-op, PACU, OR and procedure rooms.
• Work primarily at ASC Silver Spring with occasional travel to other ASCs in the area.
• Contribute to a cohesive, cross-trained nursing team delivering high-quality patient care.

About The Role:

Monday through Friday with no nights, no weekends, no holidays, and no call.

At ASC Silver Spring, we know that nurses are the backbone of the ASC. For us, that means building a cohesive team that is cross trained to provide exceptional patient care in all areas of the ASC including pre-op, PACU, the OR and procedure rooms. Our team primarily works at their home ASC, but on occasion, is asked travel to other ASCs within the area. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or lesser degree and commensurate experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in perioperative care.
• CPR and ACLS certification is required.

Pay Range- Min: $38.03 to Max: $57.05
